How to Improve Fuel Economy

MPG vs L/100km vs km/L
Different regions measure fuel efficiency differently. Understanding the three common systems helps you compare vehicles accurately:
- MPG (miles per gallon): Common in the US. Higher is better.
- L/100km (liters per 100 km): Common in Europe. Lower is better.
- km/L (kilometers per liter): Used in parts of Asia and South America. Higher is better.
Note that US gallons and Imperial (UK) gallons differ, so MPG figures are not directly interchangeable between countries.
